A beetle mask I made for a costume party. Made from card stock and wax paper.
The hand typeset poster was designed and made by Richard Christian.

More Tree Toppers

Here is the last tree topper that I made.

Christmas Presents!

The veiled dog was inspired by a Horatio Bosch painting.

This one I designed after peg dolls and antique porcelain busts.

Here are some tree toppers that I made for my family for Christmas. Their heads are carved from Linden wood and painted with acrylics and the costumes are all found materials.

Changepig!

This was my Halloween costume mask. I modeled it after a bizarre finger puppet. It is made from paper mache and painted with acrylics.

Der Tod

This Death puppet is a simple rod puppet. His head can fully rotate and he's got leather joints. His head and arms were carved from Linden wood and painted with acrylics with a cotton robe.

In the first picture there is also a small matchbox theater that I made as a Valentine. Just paper and really tiny pens.

Dolly Dimple

Here is one of the first little czech-style marionettes I've made. She was inspired my the Fleischer Brothers cartoons. She was carved from Linden wood and painted with acrylics.
