Polly's Traumabenteuer performance also performed in July 2011. Marionettes were made from air-dry clay, wire, wood, found fabrics, and strung with fishing line.
Linden holz, linen strings, acrylic paints, found materials: chain, rabbit fur, cotton, and velvet.
We performed many times within one month with our two different productions. In these photos I am performing with my own puppet in an all marionette performance at The Forest Cafe, and performing outside in an object theater style performance of our version of The Three Golden Hairs of Grandfather Know-it-all at the Letni Letna, Prague's international contemporary circus and theater festival.
Here are the first photographs of the puppet I carved from Linden wood while attending the Puppets in Prague marionette carving and manipulation courses. Her character is based off of the Fairy Berylune in Maurice Maeterlinck's play, 'The Bluebird'.
